Road Map based on experience and simples facts

Last 2 years experience has shown that one data management solution cannot meet all NDT market and challenges
“Public cloud” solutions minimize the cost of infrastructure, maintenance and resource for security while “Private Cloud” allows to address some security concerns
More and more tools and plugins can be added to the cloud solution to give even more added value for the NDT market (inspector management, asset management, viewer and more)

Server’s Definition

Private Cloud

The data is saved on a server owned by the inspection company. This also means that the inspection company will have to manage the infrastructure (servers, the hard disk, the backup, the maintenance, the upgrade over time and the, manage the security)

Public Cloud

The data is saved on a server not owned by the inspection company. Infrastructure is managed by a third party (servers, the hard disk, the backup, the maintenance, the upgrade over time and the, manage the security)

Local Server

The data is saved on a server owned by the inspection company. There is no remote access (except through a VPN access). This also means that the inspection company will have to manage the infrastructure (servers, the hard disk, the backup, the maintenance, the upgrade over time and the, manage the security)

Of course we want our operation more efficiente. We are willing to make some changes, but we want to keep the control the data.

Survey's comment

Our IT team has worked so hard on our informatique infrastructure in the past 2 years. It will be to expensive for us to start over and change our system.

Survey's comment

The Cloud is a must for our industry, no doubt about that. We are already working on coding our own system.
